The state of the global economy is unlike anything this generation has ever seen or experienced. A credit and liquidity crisis and, perhaps to a greater extent, the crisis of confidence has caused people and business alike to second guess conventional wisdom, err on the side of caution, and seek shelter. Indeed, in times of market turmoil one must be wary of exposing oneself to undue risk but, in such times, there are also tremendous opportunities (of equal or greater significance) to be had.
