Davina Reid is the primary PFSC relationship manager for all Porsche Centres in Canada.  She is responsible for promoting PFSC lease and finance products for PFSC, the financial services arm of the car company Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. For the past ten plus years Davina has worked in the area of automotive financial services in many different capacities, primarily in the area of sales and marketing for companies such as Nissan/Infiniti, GE Capital and currently with Porsche. Davina holds an undergraduate business degree from York University. 
 
Davina sat on the UFSC Board as VP External Affairs for 2010, was the UFSC Board Secretary in 2004 and VP Internal Affairs in 2009. Further to these, over the previous five years before being elected to the VP External role, Davina was either a member, chair or co-chair of the UFSC Professional Development Committee and has always been a very active member of UFSC Toronto. In 2006, 2007 and 2010 Davina received the UFSC Toronto Chapter's President's Award; recognizing one individual outstanding contributions made to the organization for that year.  In 2008 and 2009 she was recognized by the Chapter as an Outstanding Member. Davina participates in a meaningful way serving on the board of another charity.  Since 2007 Davina has served on the Board of the National Junior Golf Academy, currently as the Executive Secretary.

Ellis Perryman

Ellis Perryman is a Senior Manager of Marketing at TDBG.  After starting at TD in the branch management program in 1996 and then progressing to mutual fund accounting, he made the difficult decision to leave an upward moving career to pursue his MBA at the Richard Ivey School of Business (Western).  In Ellis’ current role, he leads a team that develops and implements Customer strategy for the bank spanning areas such as Email marketing, Customer onboarding and Customer contact preference.  His mandate also includes a bank wide initiative designed to demonstrate the incremental value that an integrated data strategy can generate for the organization.  He was previously the treasurer of his condominium board and is currently a member of TD’s Black Community Subcommittee. Ellis was also a Grant Review Committee Member for two rounds of United Way’s Youth Challenge Fund.

I have worked as an accountant in the retail industry as well as the media industry after graduating from York University with a Business Adminstration degree. Most recently, I received my CGA designation in the spring of 2011. In the near future, I hope to pursue a career in tax accounting and I am currently studying for the GMAT to start a Masters of Taxation program. I joined UFSC in 2011 because after having worked for a number of years, I realized the importance of contributing to the community.

Patrice Rouse is Senior Counsel at Bank of Montreal (“BMO”), where she manages a variety of litigation and regulatory matters arising from BMO’s investment banking business in the U.S.  Prior to joining BMO, Patrice was a Legal Consultant with AON and before that a litigation associate with the law firm of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York, where she represented financial institutions and corporations in regulatory enforcement proceedings, grand jury investigations, civil litigation, and arbitrations.  Representative clients included Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Barclays Capital Inc., and representative practice areas included securities, employment, and general commercial litigation.  
 
Patrice graduated cum laude from Howard University School of Law in Washington, D.C. Patrice also holds a B.A. (Hons.) in Economics & Political Science from the University of Toronto.
 
 

Ayanna Dick

Ayanna Dick joined RBC Capital Markets in 2004. She is an Associate within the Global Trading Client Management group and responsible for the management and administration of credit and transactional risk limits for clients that include various group of fund releationships including regulated mutual funds, pension funds, trusts, endowments and hedge funds.
 
Ayanna graduated from the Honours Business Administration program at Wilfred Laurier University. During her studies, she participated in many student groups including the Graduation Committee, Association of Black Students and Residence Life Staff. She is also an alumnas of INROADS Toronto. Her INROADS experience allowed her the opportunity to lead community initiatives as well as work for RBC Capital Markets and General Mills as a Junior Financial Analyst.
 
Ayanna became a member of UFSC Toronto in 2005. Ayanna Dick is a recipient of the UFSC Toronto Chapter's Most Outstanding Member Award; Toronto Chapter's Member of the Year Award; Toronto Chapter's President's Award; and the UFSC National Conference's Association Award. Since 2005 Ayanna has held various positions on the UFSC Board and headed the Student's Initiative, Community Outreach and Membership Committees.

Aldin Jno-Baptiste is currently the IBM Delivery Project Executive for the Scotiabank Account. He has been involved in community organizations for over 20 years. His past endeavors include Board Member for the Black Business and Professional Association (Young Professional and Membership Positions), Co-Chair of the National Black Alliance, and most recently the Chair of the IBM National Black Networking Group.

Away from UFSC, I'm Manager, Business Development and Marketing with Stikeman Elliott LLP, reporting to our National Director. Practiced law for nearly 6 years in both private practice and in-house, before coming full circle to communications (a journalism grad, also) in ...surprise... a law firm. I now lead the firm's client proposal program, drafting compelling RFP response materials and coaching lawyers on pitching business. I also manage much of the firm's marketing content. 
 
 

Antoniella Ranga

Antoniella currently works for the Ontario government with the Ministry of Transportation. She holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Lyon University in France. In 2006 she came to Toronto for a one-year exchange program at York University, and then returned to France to complete her Masters in Marketing and Strategy at Nice University. She then worked as an intern business analyst with the marketing branch of Amadeus SA. While at university she was involved in various organizations and in 2008, she led a non-profit organization that fundraised and donated school supplies to deaf children in Ethiopia. She hopes to continue giving back to the community as a member of UFSC, which she joined in June 2009.

Larry Henry is a lawyer called to the Ontario Bar in 2001. His practice has seen him involved in a number of areas within the financial services industry. Larry first practised at McCarthy Tétrault LLP within the firm’s Corporate Group. Larry’s practice focused on Banking and Financial Services. Larry’s career took him to Robert Half Legal, a recruiting firm where he worked closely with a number of companies including a number of banks. As such, he has a keen understanding of what hiring managers within the financial services industry are seeking. Finally, Larry has recently moved to the law firm of Gilbertson Davis Emerson LLP, where he practises Insurance Law.
 
 

Marlon Reid, MFin, LL.B.

Marlon Reid has worked in the Investment Banking arm of TD Bank Group (TD Securities) for over 9 years in progressive roles. His focus has involved negotiation and deal execution of TD Securities’ energy origination transactions, in addition to various other over-the-counter derivative and capital market transactions. He has provided legal support to the Asset Securitization Group, Structured Product Group (Asia-Pacific) and the Commercial Paper desk. And has developed an industry reputation as a skillful, but “disarming” negotiator. While others look for differences, Marlon focuses on what matters most, with a view of getting things done.
 
Marlon is a standout at TD Bank and holds a place in bank’s talent pipeline of future leaders. In line with TD Bank’s mission to be the best run, customer-focused, integrated financial institution with a unique and inclusive employee culture, he led a project to structure and develop a training program for new and existing employees of the Treasury Credit team in TD Securities to, among other things, help foster a learning environment across industry and functional teams. After running a pilot in 2009, the training program was successfully launched in spring of 2010.
 
In 2009, he was appointed to co-chair the Black Community Subcommittee of TD Bank’s Diversity Leadership council on which he holds a seat among a team of TD executives. With a stated mission of making TD Bank, the bank and employer of choice in the Black community, Marlon is focused on showcasing the individual talent and collective potential of the Black community, through employee, customer and partner engagement. Marlon is a tireless and committed role model and community leader. He is very active in the community, serving two terms as President of the Urban Financial Services Coalition in 2009 and 2010. Marlon will serve as President Emeritus of the UFSC executive board and Chair of the Corporate Advisory Board to UFSC Toronto in 2011 and 2012.
 
Marlon holds an undergraduate business degree from York University, a law degree from the University of Ottawa, and a Master of Finance degree from University of Toronto’s prestigious Rotman School of Management. He received appointments to the AGO Next Committee of the Art Gallery of Ontario, and the YMCA Leadership Council for Innovative Education. In fall of 2010, Marlon was appointed, by Richard Nesbitt, Chairman and CEO of CIBC World Markets Inc., to the Financial Services Advisory Board to the Rotman School of Management, which brings together some of the best minds on Bay Street with the leaders of the Rotman School.
