Canadians for Canadians Junior Mentorship Program

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to work in the finance or consulting industry? Or ever wondered if the stories of the protagonists in Monkey Business are true? The Urban Financial Services Coalition (UFSC) is proud to partner with Canadians 4 Canadians (C4C) to develop a mentoring program that allows undergraduates and young professionals to connect with professionals who are currently working in the financial or consulting industries.

Each month, one mentor will share his or her experience in university, their current job and what they aspire to achieve in the future. This will give you an opportunity to hear their stories and gain an understanding of what it takes to succeed in a competitive industry. Mentors consist of those who graduated from a Canadian University (2-5 years ago) and now work in Toronto, New York City, Los Angeles or San Francisco. The companies these mentors represent are as follows: Goldman Sachs, Bain Capital, Boston Consulting Group, KKR, McKinsey & Co, Morgan Stanley, TD Securities, UBS and much more!

The mentoring sessions will be conducted via conference call and will consist of a mentor, moderator and UFSC participants. UFSC will send an email about each session and will distribute the details of the call to those who are interested.
