IMPORTANT NOTICE: UFSC Bylaw Amendments - Proxy Votes needed by January 25, 2012

Your participation is very important to us. The UFSC Toronto Board of Directors has reviewed the current Bylaws of the organization as it currently exists, effective February 1998, as amended November 2008.   

If not attending the January 26 2012 Kick Off General Meeting, please make time to complete and submit the downloadable Bylaw Amendment Proxy form below no later than 12 midnight on January 25, 2012.

The Board has proposed certain further amendments to take effect on February 1, 2012. 
 
These proposed amendments are downloadable in pdf. format and are being made available to all members in good standing of UFSC-TORONTO via e-mail, along with the relevant voting and proxy forms. 
 
For the purpose of giving effect to the proposed changes, the Board will require the approval of at least two-thirds of the voting members in order to reach quorum.  The bylaw amendment voting process will take place at our upcoming 2012 Kick Off General Meeting on January 26th, 2012. In order to ensure that we achieve quorum, if you are not able to attend the meeting, proxy forms will be collected until midnight, January 25, 2012.
 
UFSC-TORONTO invites members to express their views on these proposals.  Click on 'BYLAW AMENDMENTS' to download a pdf copy of the summary of the proposed amendments and on AMENDED BYLAWS-2011 for a copy of the amended bylaws in their entirety.

Please click on 'PROPOSED AMENDMENTS PROXY FORM' to download a MS Word copy of the ballot form. If you will not be available to attend the November 24 AGM and vote in person, please fill out the ballot form and e-mail it to ufsctoronto@yahoo.ca no later than 12 midnight, January 25, 2012 to ensure we reach quorum and are able to pass the proposed bylaw amendments.
