Christopher's Bio

Christopher began his career with the Debt Capital Markets and Government Investment Banking group at the Bank of Montreal Nesbitt Burns in Toronto (Summer 2005). In 2006 he joined UBS Investment Bank in San Francisco, where he worked as an Analyst in the Financial Sponsors, Leveraged Finance & Restructuring Group. During his time at UBS Chris acquired capital structuring and restructuring advisory experience within the technology, media, industrials, and business services sectors.
 
Prior to joining Searchlight, Christopher was an Associate at Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. As a member of the Control Investing strategy, he performed company and industry due diligence across a number of sectors, including retail, automotive, marine shipping, financial services, and packaging, with an emphasis on special situations and distressed investing.
 
Christopher attended the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in 2006, where he received an Honors Business Administration (with distinction) with a concentration in Finance and Accounting. While attending, he worked in the Client Development & Relations department of Ink Media, a new media development company he co-founded in 2003. He currently resides in New York with his wife.
