C4C Program Description:

A proposal to launch a dynamic new program was brought forward to UFSC Toronto by one of our 2009 Young Professional Mentors, Reneé Reid, Special Projects Manager & Assistant to the CEO, Citizen Schools (Boston, MA).

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to work in the finance or consulting industry? Or ever wondered if the stories of the protagonists in Monkey Business are true? UFSC Toronto is proud to partner with 'Canadians 4 Canadians' (C4C) to develop a mentoring program that allows undergraduates and young professionals to connect with professionals who are currently working in the financial or consulting industries.

Each month, one mentor will share his or her experience in University, their current position and what they aspire to achieve in the future. This will give you an opportunity to hear their stories and gain an understanding of what it takes to succeed in a competitive industry.
Mentors will consist of those who graduated from a Canadian University (2-5 years ago) and now work in Toronto, New York City, Los Angeles or San Francisco. The companies these mentors represent are as follows: Goldman Sachs, Bain Capital, Boston Consulting Group, KKR, McKinsey & Co, Morgan Stanley, TD Securities, UBS and much more!

The mentoring sessions will be conducted via conference call and will consist of a mentor, moderator (Renée Reid) and UFSC participants.
