Volunteers Needed for Junior Achievement Day to Teach Grade 7 Students 'Dollars with Sense' Program
Join the UFSC on Friday, June 18 as we partner with Junior Achievement to promote education, wealth, professional development and the economic empowerment of our communities.
Date: Friday, June 16 (all day event)
Venue: Middle School located in the Jane & Finch Area
The Junior Achievement 'Dollars with Sense' program targets grade 7 students and equips them with the financial skills necessary to make informed decisions about their futures. Students will reflect on their lives and goals while learning about money management, simple investment strategies and how to make informed decisions. Led by UFSC volunteers, students will understand how making responsible choices today will better prepare them for tomorrow.
The Dollars with Sense program has four key content areas:
