UFSC Toronto Group Mentoring Session - What it takes to be a "Top Gun": A look into a career in equity research

UFSC Toronto Group Mentoring Session With Lennox Gibbs, Vice President, Equity Research, TD Newcrest

Lennox Gibbs leads TD (Newcrest) Capital's Life Sciences/Health Care capital markets franchise; as a Vice President in the firm's Equities Research Group. For a decade, Lennox has leveraged Equities analysis skills and Life Science industry knowledge to provide differentiable investment ideas to Canada's leading portfolio managers. Lennox also provides actionable Health Care investment research and transaction ideas to an internal team of institutional sales, trading and investment banking professionals. For 2009, Lennox received the Brendan Woods "Top Gun" Equity Analyst designation. The award recognises Lennox as having one of Canada's most highly valued opinions in his sector of the capital markets. That ranking was based on the votes of Canada's leading institutional portfolio managers. He has received similar top rankings from Forbes Magazine and Greenwich Associates in past years.

Prior to joining TD Newcrest, Lennox was an Executive Director at CIBC World Markets; a marked departure from his early career in the pharmaceutical industry. Lennox holds a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering, and a B.Sc; both from the University of Toronto.
