Male Volunteers Needed for the 'Young Men of Colour Stand Up' Conference

On Wednesday, May 5, 2010 UFSC Toronto is proud to be partnering with TD Bank Financial Group and the Toronto District School Board to present 'Young Men of Colour Stand Up'.

This will be a one day conference for young men of colour. The UFSC has been asked to take part by sharing our individual stories about education, careers and life choices.  There will be a morning and afternoon session in which UFSC members can encourage and inspire minority students to pursue a university education and have a successful careers in finance.

As a culminating activity, at the end of the conference, the group will gather outside for a brief rally.  The hope is that the students will leave the day with a feeling of empowerment, responsibility and a passion for success!
